Greensburg/Decatur County Area Road Improvements
Greensburg, Indiana
This fast-tracked, $60 million project was located adjacent to the new Honda plant in Greensburg and involved six roadway improvement projects completed in less than two years, faster than any other project in INDOT's history. Projects varied in complexity and size and included modification of an existing partial-access interchange to a full-access, partial cloverleaf interchange; reconstruction and widening of approximately three miles of an urban state road; and construction of new roadway and an interstate bridge overpass. This project included land acquisition of 45 parcels completed in less than 12 months.
