Private developer DR Horton identified a 438-acre lot as an ideal spot to provide housing, parks, commercial space, and a large amenity center. The land had its share of complexities with 13 ponds and two major state roads, requiring extensive coordination with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
Working closely with the client, INDOT, and local officials, our team developed 20 different concepts that would provide affordable housing in the fast-growing area while creating a recreation space for the city’s residents.
When construction is complete in 2029, Miles Farm will offer 958 residential lots. The development will also include a spacious amenity center, multiple small parks, two areas for commercial development, two boulevard roadways, a roundabout, and infrastructure improvements that will pave the way for Danville’s future expansion beyond this development.
