Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Main Building Renovation
Kokomo, Indiana
American Structurepoint provided architecture design and programming services for a $9 million renovation of the main building on the Kokomo campus. Systems and infrastructure of the 40-year-old main building were brought up to date with a modern façade and renovated classrooms and faculty offices.
Natural lighting was incorporated into the renovated space for faculty offices. Multiple huddle spaces provided individual areas where faculty could meet with students. The renovated building also houses multiple liberal arts programs, math, English and the early childhood learning program. The renovation also included additional student lounges and common gathering areas.
