Rob Bray, AIA LEED AP BD+C, commercial/corporate practice leader and senior project manager at American Structurepoint, has earned the 2018 Young Architect Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) chapter in Indiana.

The Young Architect Award recognizes a licensed architect age 40 or less who has demonstrated proficient knowledge and exceptional accomplishments in, and contributions to, the profession of architecture. Rob is our lead project manager in the delivery of distinctive corporate headquarters for Meyer Najem, BlueSky Technology Partners, CEDIA and Knowledge Services. His other high-profile projects include serving as project manager for the Doubletree Hotel and Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; dozens of innovative senior living facilities throughout the Midwest and multiple medical office buildings for Cornerstone Companies.

“I am very grateful to receive this recognition but more importantly, I am so honored to work with incredible clients and help them transform their vision into realities.”

“I am very grateful to receive this recognition but more importantly, I am so honored to work with incredible clients and help them transform their vision into realities,” Bray said. “I’m also proud to be a part of an architecture group that continually delivers exceptional designs for clients and communities.”

Rob joined American Structurepoint as a project manager in 2010. He was promoted in 2014 to the market sector leader role for our corporate/commercial practice. He has overall responsibility for the sector’s financials, client services and client satisfaction. Our repeat clients continually request Rob to serve as project manager for their new projects. He is a key contributor to our ranking as the fifth-largest Indianapolis architecture firm by Architectural Record magazine.

This marks the third consecutive year that AIA Indiana has chosen an American Structurepoint architect to receive its Young Architect Award. Brandon Hoopingarner, AIA, received the award in 2017 and in 2016, Brandon Farley, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, received the honor.
