American Structurepoint Named Finalist for 2026 Monumental Award

Monumental Award Finalist Reimagine Pleasant Street

Indianapolis, Indiana [August 21, 2026] – American Structurepoint has been named a finalist in the Engineering category for the 49th Annual Monumental Awards, presented by the Indy Chamber, for its work on the Reimagine Pleasant Street Project in Noblesville, Indiana.

Reimagine Pleasant Street is a $125 million, 2.5-mile multimodal corridor that connects State Road 32 to State Road 37 while helping reduce traffic through downtown Noblesville. The project includes six roundabouts, three bridges, extensions of the Midland Trace Trail, pedestrian tunnels, enhanced crossings, and streetscape improvements designed to improve mobility, safety, and quality of life.

“We are honored to be recognized as a finalist for a Monumental Award,” said American Structurepoint President Cash Canfield. “Reimagine Pleasant Street highlights how thoughtful engineering and collaboration solves complex transportation challenges and creates meaningful benefits for the community. This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and the strong partnership we share with the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County.”

The project required innovative engineering solutions to overcome poor soil conditions and flood resiliency concerns. American Structurepoint’s team implemented advanced drainage design while supporting efficient construction and durability. Beyond its engineering accomplishments, the project was designed with a strong focus on preserving community character. Public art, natural landscaping, and historic preservation were incorporated to reflect Noblesville’s identity.

“Projects like Reimagine Pleasant Street demonstrate how infrastructure can do more than move people from one place to another,” said American Structurepoint CEO Rick Conner. “By improving mobility, enhancing safety, supporting economic growth, and respecting the character of the community, this project showcases the lasting value that engineering can bring to the places we serve.”

The Monumental Awards recognize excellence in development architecture, engineering, construction, and community impact throughout Central Indiana. Winners of the 49th Annual Monumental Awards will be announced by the Indy Chamber during the awards program on October 14.
