Indianapolis, Indiana [May 20, 2026] - American Structurepoint continues its longstanding partnership with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity through its annual Service Day at the company’s Indianapolis headquarters. Team members came together for the second consecutive year to complete a double panel build, helping provide safe, affordable homes for two local families.
The build reflects the firm’s ongoing mission to improve the quality of life for the people and the communities it serves—not only through its professional work, but through meaningful hands-on community service.
Each year, the Annual Day of Service brings together employees across all disciplines to give back. Around 150 team members from the Indianapolis design center participated, working side-by-side to support families on their path to homeownership. In addition to volunteer efforts, American Structurepoint was proud to contribute $40,000 support toward building materials for the homes.
“The Annual Day of Service is one of the most meaningful days of the year for our team,” said American Structurepoint President Cash Canfield. “At American Structurepoint, it’s our mission to improve the quality of life for the people and communities we serve, and today reflects that mission. These homes represent stability, opportunity, and a foundation for families to build their futures.”
“I promised my kids I would move them into a better home where they can have their own space and finally have a dog to grow up with,” said future homeowner Dariea Oliver. “I just want stability overall and a home where I can comfortably watch my children thrive and grow.”
Curtis McElroy who will purchase the other home, shares Oliver’s desire for stability and a home centered around family.
“Homeownership will mean my children and grandchildren can have a stable place to gather for family functions and holidays,” he said. “My journey to recovery started in 2022. I finally feel comfortable enough with myself to take on something as big and meaningful as purchasing my first home. I know becoming a homeowner is the perfect beginning to a fresh start.”
Leaders from Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity emphasize the importance of partnerships like this one.
“American Structurepoint continues to show what it means to invest in community,” said Jim Morris, president and CEO of Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity. “The dedication of their team helps make homeownership possible for families in our community, and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support.”
American Structurepoint has partnered with Habitat for Humanity organizations for several years, contributing both volunteer hours and financial resources to help build homes across Central Indiana, Florida, and Ohio. The company’s continued investment initiatives like Annual Day of Service reflects its deep belief that strong communities begin with safe and stable housing.
