Indianapolis, Indiana – American Structurepoint recently celebrated the talented staff members who helped contribute to the design of bridges and roadways for Section 3 of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing (ORX) project. At the event, leaders recognized American Structurepoint’s engineering experts who have dedicated significant time to this transformative project, which was featured on the cover of the September issue of ENR Midwest.

American Structurepoint is the lead designer for ORX Constructors, the design-build team working on Section 3. The I-69 ORX project consists of three phases. When all phases are complete, a new I-69 bridge over the Ohio River will connect Evansville, Indiana, and Henderson, Kentucky. Section 3 involves constructing the southbound lanes of I-69 in Indiana over a floodplain to provide all-weather access to the Ohio River.

During the event, each American Structurepoint design team member received a framed copy of the ENR Midwest magazine cover signed by Indiana Governor Mike Braun.

American Structurepoint CEO Rick Conner, Chief Operating Officer Ben Borcherding, and Vice President, National Transportation Director Ryan Cummins thanked staff for their hard work and dedication. Each leader praised the team’s commitment to delivering project improvements that will significantly improve connectivity and drive economic growth.
