Warsaw Strategic Plan
Consultants from American Structurepoint worked with the city of Warsaw to create a strategic plan that offers a foundation for strategic community and economic development. This plan was the result of the desire to better understand the current conditions, operations, issues, and opportunities of Warsaw with a focus on achieving the Warsaw vision and goals. This document is a working, fluid, useable tool for the leaders of Warsaw to guide the necessary decisions that will lead to sustainable growth and development and an enhanced quality of life that is founded on the vision of Warsaw.
The vision of Warsaw is one where: Warsaw will be a vibrant, compassionate, and sustainable community that embraces its rich heritage, the unique and innovative nature of its citizens and businesses, as well as its distinctive natural amenities and community spirit resulting in successful community development, a diverse economy, and an exceptional quality of life. The strategic plan focuses on goals for growth management, business retention & expansion, business attraction, downtown Warsaw, communications & processes, and neighborhood revitalization. Within each goal discussion are sub goals and potential strategies and next steps. These goal and strategy discussions provide a framework for community and economic development. This plan provides guidance and direction for the community, and helps to identify areas that need additional, strategic planning, study and investigation, and action to achieve the vision and goals of Warsaw. Additional areas of consultation and study may focus on land use, zoning, neighborhoods, infrastructure, annexation, transportation, connectivity, policies, incentives, programs, communications, marketing, relationships, public-private partnerships, standards, and many more.
