"Nashville" TV Production Set Assessments
Nashville, Tennessee
Forensic engineering consultants from American Structurepoint performed structural evaluations of some of the warehouses used for the television drama, “Nashville,” which airs on CMT. The warehouses were of tremendous size with relatively large column bays and were used as production spaces requiring the hanging of equipment from the roof structure, including studio lights, props, and pieces of the sets for the Bluebird Diner, and for the character’s residences, which are used in the show. The production team also installed sound baffling to the roof in order to minimize noise within the set. Our investigative engineers focused on confirming that the existing structures could support the weight of the equipment and offering structural retrofit solutions as needed.
