The final design balanced the needs of all parties and also saved $20 million in construction costs.

Our team worked with Williamson County officials to identify options for improving their road network to align with potential new developments. As growth occurs, we are helping officials identify solutions while reducing the impact to existing property owners and natural resources.

Comprehensive Planning and Design

Comparing each option based on cost, environmental impact, number of impacted property owners, and other factors led to several initial designs. With this information in hand, our team met with landowners in the area and county officials to further seek input and ideas to ultimately design which concept was the preferred option.

Unlocking $20 Million in Savings

In meeting with the local stakeholders and community, our team was able to project where future construction was best suited for the fast-growing area. Shifting the road to avoid an identified floodplain uncovered $20 million in savings, benefiting taxpayers and the local community.

With this plan in hand, county officials are able to meet with potential developers and property owners to help guide and promote significant growth in the area. The final design was the culmination of extensive coordination with local officials and balanced the environmental and property impacts for the area.
