North Jefferson Street Fire Investigation
Huntington, Indiana
An explosion rocked an area of North Jefferson Street causing structural collapse and fire damage to multiple homes. American Structurepoint's private fire and explosion investigators determined the cause of the blast was a natural gas leak. Further analysis revealed that a ground rod had been inadvertently driven through a natural gas supply pipe, which eventually caused the explosion incident.
