Created by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business, the annual statewide list is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Ohio and their contributions to the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Firms are evaluated on workplace policies, employee benefits, and employee engagement across eight core focus areas.

The second consisted of an employee survey to measure employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and used its expertise to determine the final rankings.
