    As design director and a principal at American Structurepoint, Brandon is responsible for setting the standard for all designed produced in the Architecture + Interiors Group. Brandon champions design excellence, leads the design team, and directs sales and marketing for architecture and interiors. He is well versed in architecture theory of design and has proven experience in the programming, schematic, and design development phases to ensure client objectives are met. Brandon works closely with project managers to maintain design excellence through construction documents. He is experienced in several computer graphic software platforms and is able to communicate designs quickly with a high level of detail. Brandon's imagination and creativity offers clients a unique perspective throughout the entire design process. Brandon’s great depth of knowledge and experience in the industry has led to a number of prestigious awards, including the 2017 AIA Indiana Young Architect Award, the 2014 Interior Design Coalition of Indiana’s Emerging Talent Award, ENR Midwest’s Top 20 Under 40, and a 2014 finalist for Indy’s Best and Brightest.

    As director of operations and a principal of the firm, Randy guides the day-to-day operations of the Architecture + Interiors Group and helps maintain the group’s overall vision. He orchestrates the quality control and production processes to ensure projects maintain the client’s quality, budgetary, and scheduling expectations. His advanced problem-solving skills allow him to foster strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor through all phases of a project. Overall, Randy’s leadership and advocacy help ensure both staff professional growth and delivery of the highest-quality design and service to our clients.

    Gene McDonald is responsible for directing and accomplishing national growth and market expansion across all disciplines and sectors for our Architecture + Interiors practice. Gene will position American Structurepoint as a leader in both new and existing markets by leveraging his experience with large-scale projects and identifying key areas where our strengths can fuel growth.

    Gene is a nationally recognized industry leader who brings over 25 years of experience to the American Structurepoint Architecture + Interiors Group. He is dedicated to delivering sustainability, innovation, and design excellence, particularly in the multifamily, higher education, and healthcare sectors.

    Gene is active in industry organizations, including the American Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, the Society for College and University Planning, and the Association of College and University Housing Officers.

    Rob is the commercial/corporate practice leader and a senior project manager in the Architecture + Interiors Group. His responsibilities include developing projects from schematic design through construction. He performs design, drawing production, specification development, finish selection, materials research, project renderings, consultant coordination, meeting and presentation coordination, and pricing breakdowns.

    Brandon is responsible for leading American Structurepoint’s education practice. In his career, Brandon has proudly worked with every large university and many of the smaller universities in the state. His depth of architectural experience and unique understanding of the higher education market allow him to provide expert guidance throughout all phases of a project to help his clients achieve their vision.

    Brandon relentlessly pursues design excellence and applies his passion to all his clients’ work. He is an enthusiastic mentor to students and staff and a staunch advocate for the transformative power of design. As our director of sustainability, Brandon has guided numerous projects through meeting and exceeding their sustainability goals.

    Brandon is the AIA Indianapolis Chapter president emeritus and chairman of the Indiana High School Architectural Design Competition. He has been honored as an Indianapolis Best and Brightest Finalist; an AIA Service Award; AIA Citation, Merit, and Honor Awards; and was the recipient of the 2016 AIA Indiana Young Architect Award.

    As a principal at American Structurepoint, Matt provides strategic oversight and guidance for our firm’s federal projects, ensuring cohesive vision, quality design, and smooth project delivery. Leveraging his background in architecture, he leads interdisciplinary teams through land planning, programming, space planning, building design, and overall project coordination. With his leadership, American Structurepoint delivers integrated solutions that meet stringent federal design, security, and sustainability standards.

    Matt’s federal expertise encompasses a wide range of projects throughout the United States and internationally, including work in Guam and Spain. He has successfully partnered with agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, National Guard, US Army Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration, US Air Force, and other emerging defense entities. He also brings specialized experience designing secure facilities for the US Department of Defense and private industry partners. His deep institutional knowledge, combined with a clear understanding of the federal market’s complexities, leads him to deliver a consistent, client-focused vision from project inception through completion – helping clients successfully achieve their vision and support their mission.

    Mike leads the General Practice Group that focuses on municipal, manufacturing, and industrial projects. He serves as a mentor to our younger staff and oversees project design and production documentation. Mike has extensive experience with programming, land planning, space planning, building design, and project management.
