Urology of Indiana Center of Excellence Medical Office Building

American Structurepoint provided architectural design and structural engineering services for an $8 million Urology of Indiana Center of Excellence medical office building at Med Tech Park. The 22,000-sft center provides space for up to 12 urologic providers and offers a full spectrum of outpatient urologic care, in-office procedures, imaging, and vasectomy services.

We provided construction documents for a steel-framed core and shell building. The shell construction is brick veneer and metal-stud construction and is integrated at the foundation/third-party wall with an adjacent Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO) facility. This required detailed coordination with the CIO design team on the 2-story structure and foundations to support both buildings. We were also responsible for submitting plans to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, City of Fishers, Hamilton County Planning Department, and Fishers Fire Department for review and approval.
