University of Indianapolis Roberts Residence Hall

American Structurepoint prepared site development permit/construction documents for this new dormitory building, associated 200-space parking lot, and the required storm water detention system. The parking area was designed to be “park-like” and included rain gardens and larger bio-retention areas to maintain the existing large trees.

The site was located within the University of Indianapolis campus, between two existing dormitory buildings. A complex network of utilities had to be addressed, and our engineers provided a detailed utility plan showing the sanitary lateral, gravity sewer, water, electric, telephone, and gas lines, and facilitated all coordination with the utility companies and fire marshal.
