Ronald Reagan Parkway

American Structurepoint provided construction inspection services for the construction of the Ronald Reagan Parkway from the existing "T" intersection at CR 300 N in Hendricks County, extending in a northerly direction for approximately 1.7 miles to connect to the recently constructed I-74 interchange. The project included construction of four new bridge structures - one over the CSX Railroad, one over US 136, and two over the East Fork of White Lick Creek. (Contract R-31472)

 

Phase III was about helping to build a parkway that served the economic development strategy to create jobs, business, and boost the tax base in the Avon, Brownsburg, and Plainfield area. This section consisted of 1.2 miles of 4-lane highway, including the construction of a 563-foot-long, 67-feet-high, 4-span, continuous composite prestressed bulb tee beam bridge on Ronald Reagan Parkway over seven railroad tracks in the CSX rail yard.

 

AWARDS: Phase III received a 2019 ACEC Indiana Engineering Excellence Awards State Finalist Award.

 

I-70 and Ronald Reagan Parkway Interchange: American Structurepoint provided supplemental construction inspection to INDOT for the construction of the Ronald Reagan Parkway Interchange at I-70. The project included construction of new bridges, roadways, traffic signals, lighting systems, and entrance and exit ramps. Construction Cost: $24.5 million

 

CR 450 South to US 40: American Structurepoint provided construction inspection for this project that included construction of approximately 2 miles of new 4-lane QC/QA PCCP concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, new storm sewer system, sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer lift station, two four-sided box culverts, and a new signal intersection located on US 40 and Ronald Reagan Parkway. This LPA project was built to INDOT standards and specifications. The pavement section consisted of 60,500 square meters of QC/QA concrete pavement. Construction Cost: $8.1 million

 

US 36 to CR 100: This project included the inspection a 4-lane highway, including a bridge 67 lft in height and spanning seven railroad tracks. This project included the construction of 1.2 miles of four-lane highway, including the construction of a 563-lft-long, four-span, continuous composite prestressed bulb tee beam bridge on Ronald Reagan Parkway over seven railroad tracks in the CSX rail yard in Avon, Indiana. INDOT Contract Number R-31957 South Estimated Construction Cost: $11.7 million
