Ridgewood Event Center & Golf Clubhouse

More than a clubhouse, Ridgewood Golf & Event Center is a transformative civic investment that strengthens one of Parma’s most recognizable public destinations. Designed to serve the community year-round, the facility combines golf, dining, events, and recreation within a welcoming setting inspired by Ridgewood’s historic legacy. A new event center, restaurant, golf simulators, and expansive gathering spaces expand public access while creating new opportunities for community engagement. Comprehensive site improvements addressed flooding, parking, and operations, resulting in a more functional and resilient public asset. Overlooking the golf course and anchored by generous porches and outdoor gathering spaces, the architecture balances civic identity with the warmth of residential design, creating a destination built to bring people together for generations to come.

Ridgewood Golf & Event Center reimagines what a municipal golf facility can be, transforming a longtime community asset into a vibrant year-round destination for golfers, residents, and visitors alike. The project honors more than a century of Ridgewood Golf Club history while creating a modern facility designed to serve the community for generations to come.

More than a replacement clubhouse, the project was envisioned as a civic investment that extends well beyond the golf season. The new facility includes a 200-person event venue, full-service restaurant and bar, golf simulator bays, and flexible indoor and outdoor gathering spaces that support dining, recreation, celebrations, and community events throughout the year. Thoughtful site improvements resolved longstanding challenges related to parking, drainage, and operations while enhancing accessibility and strengthening the visitor experience.

Inspired by the welcoming character of the original clubhouse, the architecture balances civic presence with residential warmth through generous porches, expansive views of the golf course, and thoughtfully organized public spaces. The result is a destination that celebrates Ridgewood's legacy while strengthening community connections and creating new opportunities for people to gather, connect, and enjoy one of Parma's most cherished public places.
