Rickenbacker Exchange at Commercial Point Industrial Park

American Structurepoint provided the engineering services necessary to assess, study, and conceptualize a 1,000-acre master plan for a new industrial park consisting of shovel-ready parcels for logistics, distribution warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. Our team prepared a topographic survey to identify all necessary roadway, utility, and stormwater management infrastructure required to support this large-scale development. The American Structurepoint survey team used terrestrial and LiDAR survey methods to meet the deadlines set by an extremely compressed schedule. Our services included a boundary survey, an ALTA survey, a topographic survey, platting, construction staking, and annexation/zoning.

American Structurepoint was contracted to perform the preliminary and final engineering for the industrial park. This work included engineering for public roadway alignment, regional sanitary sewer trunk locations, regional stormwater management, off-site improvements and determination of impacts to environmental/archaeological features, and more.

To support fire suppression for the industrial park, a pump house was constructed on Lot 1-A to provide fire protection for all levels of uses for lot development. The pump house feeds a private 16-inch fire water suppression line that follows the general alignment of the internal public roadway network. Twelve-inch fire water suppression feeds are supplied to each lot to support an independent 10-inch fire water loop system surrounding the warehouse facilities.
