Indiana Payload Integration Facility

American Structurepoint provided architecture and interior design services for Kratos’ new Hypersonic System Indiana Payload Integration Facility in Crane, Indiana. The 68,000-sft. office, laboratory, integration, and testing complex will support hypersonic vehicle and payload activities associated with the Multi-Service Advanced Capabilities Hypersonic Testbed program and other national-security initiatives. The facility will expand critical industrial infrastructure and help accelerate the development and flight testing of advanced hypersonic systems.

The approximately $50 million facility is designed to bring advanced manufacturing, integration, and testing capabilities together within a purpose-built environment supporting hypersonic vehicles and payloads. Enhanced workflows and specialized technical spaces will help increase the pace of integration and testing activities for systems capable of operating at Mach 5 and above.
