Hulman Field ANGB Readiness Planning Study

The Hulman Field Air National Guard Base Readiness Planning Study is evaluating infrastructure needs that affect the long-term resilience and operational readiness of the Terre Haute Regional Airport and the Indiana Air National Guard’s 181st Intelligence Wing. The study addresses utilities, transportation, stormwater management, water and wastewater systems, land use, and emergency and life-safety services. American Structurepoint is providing master planning services and developing prioritized recommendations to guide future infrastructure investments and coordinated implementation.

The study examines interconnected infrastructure systems supporting both the airport and military installation, identifying existing conditions, potential vulnerabilities, and improvements needed to support future operations. Its comprehensive scope includes utility capacity and reliability, transportation access and circulation, stormwater infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, compatible land use, and emergency-response services.

American Structurepoint is translating the study findings into prioritized, implementable recommendations that can support coordinated decision-making and future capital investment. The ongoing effort is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation.
