Our Cleveland Design Center is Expanding!

Grand Park Sports Campus + Pro X Athlete Development Facility

Grand Park Sports Campus has become one of the nation's premier sports destinations, welcoming athletes, families, and visitors from across the country for tournaments, training, and special events. American Structurepoint played a key role in the development of the 400-acre complex, providing civil engineering, transportation, utility, grading, and stormwater infrastructure services that helped bring the vision to life on an accelerated schedule. The firm later expanded its involvement by providing architecture, interior design, civil, and structural engineering services for the Pro X Athlete Development Facility, a state-of-the-art training center designed to support youth and aspiring collegiate and professional athletes.

Grand Park Sports Campus transformed more than 400 acres of largely undeveloped land into the largest sports complex of its kind in the United States. Designed to accommodate year-round recreation, regional tournaments, and national championship events, the campus includes 31 multi-purpose fields, 26 baseball and softball diamonds, indoor sports facilities, over 10 miles of trails, extensive parking, and supporting infrastructure capable of handling more than 1.5 million annual visits.

When project schedules became critical, American Structurepoint stepped in to lead the engineering effort and rapidly deliver site development plans that kept the project moving. The team completed mass grading, utility infrastructure, transportation improvements, and stormwater management design for the entire campus in just a few weeks, helping the City of Westfield maintain its aggressive construction schedule. The resulting development has become a major driver of sports tourism and economic growth throughout Hamilton County.

Building on the success of Grand Park, American Structurepoint provided architecture, interior design, civil engineering, and structural engineering services for the Pro X Athlete Development Facility. The 58,000-square-foot training center features approximately 49,000 square feet of open turf training space, two indoor baseball infields, a performance weight room, golf simulators, batting cages, athlete rehabilitation areas, offices, and a viewing mezzanine. Together, the projects reinforce Grand Park's reputation as a destination for athlete development, competition, and community recreation.
