Celebrating 10 Years in Texas

Franklin Redwood

American Structurepoint performed a Phase I ESA for this agricultural site in accordance with ASTM-21, which included polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as a scoped item under the recent designation by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) hazardous substance.

A Phase II ESA was then performed due to the likely presence of PFAS and the identification of a volatile organic compound (VOC) groundwater plume at an adjacent property. Soil and groundwater sampling was conducted for VOCs and PFAS at this site. American Structurepoint worked closely with our client on the sampling and data collection to understand the potential risk associated with the property, and we helped our client understand the regulatory process associated with reaching site closure.
