East Wilco Highway (Corridor E5)
American Structurepoint is known for being long-term partners with our clients. Our team takes time to understand how each project fits into our clients’ vision and works to execute that vision. One example is the East Wilco Highway (Corridor E5) Study for Williamson County, Texas.
Located within one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, Corridor E5 is an area primed for growth and development. Our team worked with Williamson County officials to identify options for improving their road network to align with potential new developments. As growth occurs, we are helping officials identify solutions while reducing the impact to existing property owners and natural resources.
American Structurepoint’s engineers analyzed several concepts, comparing each option based on cost, environmental impact, the number of affected property owners, and more. After developing the initial alternatives, the American Structurepoint team met with potentially impacted land owners in the area and county officials to seek input and ideas to ultimately determine which concept is the preferred option.
By looking at the big picture of where future construction is best suited, our team uncovered a $20 million savings by shifting the road to avoid an identified floodplain.
Now, the county has a plan to show developers and property owners to help guide and promote significant growth in the area.
American Structurepoint’s mission is to help improve the quality of life for the people and communities we serve. We’re proud to partner with Williamson County, Texas, to help the county grow and thrive.
