Camp Atterbury Microgrid Design
The Camp Atterbury microgrid modernization is designed to strengthen energy resilience and maintain critical operations during utility outages. The project integrates a 3.3 MW ground-mounted solar array, a 100 kW solar carport, a 5 MW/5 MWh battery energy storage system, and a 5 MW natural gas generator with the installation’s existing energy assets. American Structurepoint is providing civil engineering and environmental services for the project, which also includes a campus-wide LED lighting retrofit and a redundant underground electrical distribution line serving critical facilities. |
