Our Cleveland Design Center is Expanding!

Camp Atterbury Entry Control Point Facility

The Camp Atterbury Entry Control Point improved installation security, access-control operations, and traffic flow through a redesigned primary entrance. The project reconfigured inbound and outbound lanes, increased vehicle queuing capacity, introduced controlled-access and traffic-management features, and added a new guard facility with an overhead canopy. American Structurepoint provided Title I architecture, interior design, civil engineering, landscape architecture, traffic engineering, and structural engineering services.

The coordinated design created a safer and more efficient approach for vehicles entering and leaving the installation. Expanded queuing areas and improved lane configurations support vehicle processing while reducing congestion near the primary entrance.

The new guard facility, overhead canopy, access-control features, and supporting infrastructure were integrated into a durable security environment designed for long-term use. Coordination among architectural, site, traffic, landscape, and structural disciplines helped balance installation security requirements with safe circulation and efficient daily operations.
