Nick Harrison leads American Structurepoint’s practice in Florida. He is responsible for building a consistent culture, developing staff, driving sales, achieving operational effectiveness, and continuing the healthy growth of American Structurepoint’s Florida transportation practice.

Nick joined American Structurepoint in 2018 to start our Florida Transportation practice. Under his leadership, the group has grown to over 20 employees across two design centers. Nick has generated a huge pipeline of future projects across the state in several Florida Department of Transportation districts and local Florida communities.

Nick has 19 years of transportation industry experience specializing in the design and management of major roadway infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, he has been charged with project oversight and roadway design of projects ranging from minor intersection improvements to freeways with major system and service interchange facilities. Nick has extensive experience in all phases of highway design from preliminary engineering for environmental analysis to preparation of contract plans and specifications for construction. Nick’s project delivery experience includes traditional design-bid-build, design-build, and private-public partnerships. He has hands-on design experience in roadway, temporary traffic control, and drainage design, and specializes in the geometric design of innovative intersections and interchanges, such as roundabouts and diverging diamond interchanges.
