Union City Strategic Investment Plan

American Structurepoint’s planning team completed a strategic community investment plan and served as the Stellar Communities program coordinator for the City, overseeing the community’s finalist site visit and presentation of the plan. The intent of this process and resulting plan was to develop a program of strategic investments within the community based on the vision and goals of Union City’s comprehensive plan. The plan included a variety of investment opportunities critical to the success of their downtown focusing on public art, pedestrian enhancements, community facilities, civic spaces and parks, and downtown housing. Our specialists and urban designers provided concept renderings and location maps for these features as well as details on partnerships and financial commitments necessary to achieve the overall goals and spur additional private investment in the community.
