Heartland Corridor Strategic Plan
Tippecanoe County, Indiana
American Structurepoint’s Planning Group has helped Tippecanoe County and the city of Lafayette develop this strategic plan, which outlines the county’s short- to long-term improvement, development, and growth strategies for the study area, located in northeast Tippecanoe County. This plan provides community leaders a foundation to make future decisions for appropriate land use, infrastructure development, and transportation circulation. This plan is an adaptive policy guide intended to be flexible and adaptive over time.
American Structurepoint helped the client not only outline specific recommendations for this area, but also helped to set a foundation to guide unexpected, unforeseen opportunities, as well as changes in the area and regional forces. The planning process was an integrated, open, and dynamic progression. A steering committee was formed with representation from boards, commissions, organizations, and property owners in the area. This plan is a document that can be used to provide opportunities for community members to be proactive in the community.
