Community Revitalization of Ohio State Bank
Bexley, Ohio
This community revitalization project included the redevelopment of a 4,500-sft bank in downtown Bexley, Ohio. The property was vacant for decades. The Ohio State Bank is an iconic urban infill building that fills a long-awaited role as the western gateway to the historic city of Bexley. The project also serves as the headquarters for the new retail bank, and it offers new commercial office space for tenants. The Civil Engineering Group at American Structurepoint worked closely with the architect, Jonathan Barnes Architecture and Design, and the City of Bexley and Columbus personnel to provide a private site-improvement plan and public roadway improvements for the site, all while maintaining stormwater improvements per local regulations. American Structurepoint worked with multiple governing agencies to achieve the necessary permitting for this site.
