SOF Language Sustainment Training Facility, Fort Campbell, Kentucky

This 13,500-sft Special Operations Forces (SOF) facility was designed for LEED Gold certification. It houses administrative offices, classrooms, a distance learning/language laboratory, a multi-purpose room, an oral proficiency interview room, and support spaces for the specialized language sustainment training mission of the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The facility supports the instruction of speaking, listening, reading, and writing language skills for Special Operations Forces soldiers, and it incorporates antiterrorism/force protection requirements. American Structurepoint provided engineering and survey services as part of the design/build team.
