This multi-lane primary parkway is located adjacent to the US 31 corridor, one of Indiana's most prestigious business corridors. The fast-track project involved construction of approximately two miles of new urban roadway and reconstruction of approximately one-half mile of roadway, extending Illinois Street from 116th Street to 136th Street. Improvements included a divided boulevard section with new curb and gutters, enclosed storm sewers, multi-use paths, a new 2-lane roundabout, and decorative retaining and screening walls.
