This project includes approximately 11 miles of a 4-lane, rural arterial facility on new terrain alignment with six at-grade intersections and four grade separations. American Structurepoint was responsible for the design of new horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, earth retaining walls, four county road overpass bridges, and three mainline bridges. Additionally, American Structurepoint was responsible for the overall project management, survey, wetland delineation, environmental permitting, right of way engineering, railroad coordination, right of way management, and utility coordination. This project is one of four segments included in the overall Hoosier Heartland Corridor project and was broken into three independent subphases that will be constructed independently.
