Study to analyze alternate corridors to link US 31 and SR 25 on the north side of Rochester. The alternate corridors are approximately 2.5 to 3.0 miles in length. This preliminary engineering study examined the project costs, environmental impacts, and traffic distributions for each alternate. This study was coordinated with the Indiana Department of Transportation’s plans to convert existing US 31 to a limited-access freeway facility in the near future. A second Rochester interchange location was considered in selecting the alternate corridors.
