Disturbance of wetlands was necessary in order to make improvements to the Borman Expressway at Cline Avenue. Mitigation plans were created to restore over 40 acres of scrub-shrub wetlands. Plans included creation of tree planting and a pond engineered to support dozens of wetland species.
