This project involved improvements to two parks: Meadowood Park and Leonard Park. At both parks the existing 4-ft-wide asphalt multiuse path was removed and replaced with a new stone base and 6-ft-wide asphalt path. Both parks received brick paver crosswalks at high traffic areas to service adjacent schools. New dugouts were installed at the two baseball diamonds at Leonard Park. This was the first phase in a larger plan to renovate the two parks and create a safer and more effective environment for the residents that use them.
