American Structurepoint provided the feasibility study and barrier plan for this 1.2 million-sft GSA-owned building. The feasibility study presented four different concepts, evaluating the entire facility for ATFP, sustainability, interior finishes, site design, and parking. The design phase considered feasible site plan alternatives, constraints, and opportunities that were responsive and sensitive to site security requirements. Our barrier plan provided effective security protection and reduced site vulnerability.  The pedestrian and vehicular traffic circulation design now offers a safe environment with enhanced aesthetics, comfort, and circulation by eliminating pedestrian-vehicular conflict points. Additional site security barrier improvements included high-security barrier fences, gates, walls, bollards, planters, cable systems, CCTV, and landscaping. There are now four vehicular emergency access points, four employee pedestrian entrances, and two pedestrian visitor entrance points.
