This project included detailed inspection and analysis of a 10-span, riveted steel girder bridge. The study included an analysis and evaluation of existing conditions and recommendations for improvements including support calculations and cost estimates. The inspection was performed using a snooper truck, and a complete photographic and video record of the inspection was made. Measurements were made in deteriorated areas, and a structural investigation was made to determine the extent of the load reduction that had occurred. Various rehabilitation and replacement alternates were investigated and recommendations made.
