Prepared master plan and detailed design for infrastructure for a 3-mile industrial corridor along US Hwy 24 west of Wolcott, Indiana, for an area targeted by the County for economic development through industrial growth. Designs were prepared for water supply, including investigation of available supply, transmission lines linked to Wolcott’s existing distribution system, a booster pumping station, and an elevated storage tank. Wastewater collection system design included coordination with Wolcott’s existing treatment plant, a regional lift station, and parallel force mains to the treatment facility. When shallow bedrock was discovered, a low-pressure system was selected for local collection in lieu of the gravity system originally anticipated. In addition to traditional design role, American Structurepoint facilitated cooperation among White County, the Town of Wolcott, and an economic development consortium.
