Analysis of an existing undersized lift station in Bloomington, Indiana, resulted in a decision to create a new highly automated lift station facility and diversion structure. The diversion of sanitary waste was required to eliminate sewer overflows, and separated flows to the lift station and then a force main, and to a separate gravity sewer.
