This locally funded project includes the construction of approximately 0.8 mile of new, 2-lane divided roadway and a new 2-lane roundabout. Once completed, this new roadway will provide additional access to new developments in the Old Meridian redevelopment area. The roadway also incorporates multiple aesthetic treatments, including a multi-lane roundabout with decorative pavement and brick accents, a variable-width median designed to minimize impact to existing wooded areas, and on-street parking lanes. Due to the large amount of redevelopment in the area, American Structurepoint also coordinated among the City, local development, and land owners. The project is on schedule to be completed by summer 2008.
