This bridge replacement project is located on SR 251 approximately 0.12 mile north of the Clinton/Brown county line. It consisted of the replacement of the existing deteriorated 12’ 6” span pipe arch with a new single-span prefabricated structure with headwalls on existing alignment with minimal approach work. Hydraulic analysis was performed using the ODOT PEAKFLOW and Army Corps of Engineers’ HEC-RAS computer modeling and checked using Haested Methods Culvertmaster. This route was closed during construction, and a detour designated by ODOT was provided. The approximate project length was 250’.
