This project included a wetland determination and delineation on an approximately 40-acre site containing a dam across Middle Creek, a headwater tributary to the East Fork of White Lick Creek. American Structurepoint prepared alternative analysis for various development options that avoided, minimized, or mitigated impacts to Middle Creek and adjacent wetlands. Mitigation for unavoidable impacts to the pond and relocation of Middle Creek for a proposed warehouse included removal of the dam and restoration of Middle Creek along the eastern and southern property lines. Channel relocation plans and alternatives included restoration of riparian wetlands within a 2-tiered urban channel relocation with a native vegetation riparian buffer.
