American Structurepoint provided architectural services from space planning and construction documents through bidding and construction administration for this remodel and expansion. The existing endoscopy center was divided from the expansion area by a main building corridor and stairwell. We relocated the corridor and reconnected it with both the main lobby and a connector vestibule to the adjacent office building. We were able to work around the stairwell to provide an additional eight recovery rooms, as well as a new nurse’s station and administrative area. The waiting room and business office were also expanded. The equipment cleaning room was enlarged and provided with better separation and circulation, and a tech room was added. The entire remodeled area and expansion area received new finishes.
