This project included preparation of construction plans and specifications for seven separate water line improvement projects located on the west side of Columbus. The project involves design of over 3,280 feet of new water main and the transfer of over 140 service connections at the following locations. Palmetto Street: 1,120’ of 6” water line including service lines and cross connections. Ong Street: 675’ of 6” water line including service line connections. First Avenue: 1,375’ of 12” water line including service lines and cross connections. Hague Avenue: Connection of service lines and relocation of fire hydrants from an existing 6” water line to an existing 20” water line. Services also included plugging the existing 6” water line. Sullivant Avenue: Connection of service lines and relocation of fire hydrants from an existing 2” water line to an existing 20” waterline. Robin Hill Court: Design of 110’ of 6” water line including service line connections.
