Putnam County's last comprehensive plan was done in 1991. American Structurepoint is working with Putnam County to create an updated county-wide comprehensive plan to direct future growth and development while preserving the county's most treasured assets. Research and analysis will be the initial steps in the comprehensive planning process that will then help to define the County's focus areas for growth and preservation. The comprehensive plan will also include an updated thoroughfare plan, zoning ordinance, and subdivision control ordinance.
