A combination of American Structurepoint disciplines contributed to this award-winning, 5.8-mile road construction project. Put on a fast track, the project consisted of a new 4-lane, divided suburban parkway with multi-use recreational paths and landscaping to create a linear park atmosphere. The Carmel, Indiana, project included three bridges, traffic signals at major intersections, and two roundabouts. Various environmental considerations were incorporated into the design and construction, including protection of the Carmel Water Treatment Plant groundwater well.
