Architecture + InteriorsFeb 26, 2015

Fishers, IND. — On February 26, the Indiana chapter of NAIOP held its seventh annual real estate award ceremony at the Conrad in Indianapolis. American Structurepoint and Meyer Najem were recognized for the Best Office Building Project of 2014.

Award applicants were evaluated across ten key categories: suitability for the intended use of the occupants, aesthetics, functionality, design creativity, Site selection, Site setting, response to complexity, economic contribution to community, positive impact to surrounding development or community, and sustainable design/construction components.

This new and innovative space in Fishers generates creativity and collaboration amongst employees and defines this next generation work space. This light-filled, sustainably designed building, with its dynamic two story atrium, open office studio, and modern exterior was designed and built in once calendar year.

Completed in December 2014, the new facility provides a fitting home for the progressive, team-oriented construction company. The interior has steel channel stairs, and exposed steel columns with accents of bamboo paneling to juxtapose the cold nature of steel with the warmth of the wood. The use of recycled materials, as well as locally manufactured and harvested materials exemplifies the core values of the company.
