According to Engineering News-Record (ENR), the signs of the end of the recession can be seen in this year’s Top 500 Design Firms list, which, as a group, totaled overall design revenue of more than $85 billion in 2011, up 6.6 percent, from $79.82 billion in 2010. ENR annually ranks the largest U.S.-based designs firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue.
