Columbus Business First has ranked American Structurepoint, Inc., among the Central Ohio Top 25 Engineering Firms, based on the firm’s 2010 consulting engineering billings of $3.6 million.

The Columbus office opened its doors in 1999. Since 2004, the staff has grown from 12 to 25 experts, working across multiple disciplines to provide innovative solutions in-house to save clients time and money. Although originally focused on transportation projects, American Structurepoint’s Columbus professionals have also expanded to surveying, investigative, site/civil, structural, and environmental services over the last three years, successfully completing nearly 200 engineering projects.

One of the firm’s most notable recent Central Ohio engineering projects is the Main Street and James Road Water Line Improvements project, for which American Structurepoint is designing approximately 8,750 total lft of water line for the City of Columbus Division of Power and Water. The project will also replace fire hydrants and transfer all service taps and side street branch water line connections located in the project corridor along Main Street and James Road.
