Dan Weinheimer Appointed to State Board of Registration

Indianapolis, Indiana --

Congratulations to Dan Weinheimer (Architecture) on his appointment to the Indiana State Board of Registration for Architects and Landscape Architects. Governor Mitch Daniels officially appointed him on July 9, 2008.

The Indiana State Board of Registration for Architects and Landscape Architects is responsible for regulating registration criteria and examining complaints against those in the field of architecture. The board consists of eight members, including five registered architects, two landscape architects, and one member of the general public. According to the state website, “Any person desiring to engage or continue in the practice of architecture must apply to the board for a certificate of registration authorizing such a person to do so, and shall submit evidence to the board that they are qualified to engage or continue in the practice of architecture.”

Dan has managed the Architectural Department at American Structurepoint since 2003. In addition to his role within the company, he also serves as the president of the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. With this experience and 25 years in the field, Dan is sure to be an asset to the Board as they ensure the integrity of the architectural profession.
